Cost of college went up for all students at Bellevue University

Tuition and fees rose 1 percent for 2018-19 at Bellevue University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Nebraska students paid $7,827 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $75 more than the $7,752 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 89 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 29 students received grants or scholarships totaling $246,171 and 12 students took out student loans totaling more than $61,500.

Including all undergraduates (9,621), 1,842 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.2 million, and 2,286 students took out $20.8 million in federal student loans.
