Maggie Vasa, former Papillion-La Vista South High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 7 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Papillion-La Vista South High School standout Maggie Vasa’s current college team, the UNLV Rebels, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

The game took place at Eller Media Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Thunderbirds this season.

The Rebels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium against Oregon Ducks.
