Wednesday, March 12: Bellevue West Senior High School standout Ty Smolinski’s college team loses to Omaha Mavericks

On Wednesday, March 12, former Bellevue West Senior High School standout Ty Smolinski’s current college team, the Kansas State Wildcats, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Omaha Mavericks.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Tointon Family Stadium against Utah Utes.
