On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Papillion-La Vista South High School standout Maggie Vasa’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Papillion-La Vista South High School standout Maggie Vasa’s current college team, the UNLV Rebels, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

The game took place at Eller Media Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Thunderbirds this season.

The Rebels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium against Idaho State Bengals.
