2.7% of Sarpy County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Sarpy County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,862 people out of the 188,464 living in Sarpy County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Sarpy County has decreased compared to the 3.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Sarpy County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.3%.

Of the 102,138 people who had a job during that time, 3,671 were employed in the Armed Forces and 98,467 belonged to the civilian labor force.
