72.6% of Sarpy County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 188,464 citizens living in Sarpy County in 2021, 72.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 136,887 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 68,261 were male, constituting 49.9%, and 68,626 were female, making up 50.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Sarpy County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 75.1%.
