The Sheriff’s Office had a recognition ceremony and luncheon

The Sheriff’s Office had a recognition ceremony and luncheon this morning. 

Hal  Cottrell was recognized as the 2021 non-sworn employee of the year for  his exemplary service in managing our tow lot for the last 12 years. Hal  is also a 25-year veteran of the USAF. Left to right - Chief Deputy  Greg London, Hal Cottrell, Sheriff Jeff Davis. 

Bradley  Victor was named the 2021 deputy of the year. He has four lifesaving  awards, and no one exemplifies teamwork more than Dep. Victor. 

Sheriff  Davis named Rod Ripley an Honorary Deputy. For the last 43 years, Rod  has worked for the Sarpy County Roads Department.  The Sheriff’s Office  greatly appreciates all the support Rod and his crew constantly provides  our Road Patrol deputies. Deputy  Dawn Herlacher was awarded the FOP Lodge #3 Elman/Fawcett award for her  work with the mental health needs of our county, as well as her work  and role as a member of our Project Lifesaver Team.  Left to right-Sgt.  Rob Hillabrand, FOP Lodge 3 President, and Deputy Dawn Herlacher.
