Pickleball is becoming a very popular sport in the United States and the City of Bellevue wants you to join in on the fun!

The Bellevue Parks and Recreation Department has announced the completion of the new Pickleball Courts at Thompson Park, located at 27th Avenue and Franklin Street which is south of Mission Avenue in Bellevue.

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net.

We hope these brand new courts provide hours of entertainment to Bellevue residents.
