The percentage of unemployed residents was less than the statewide total of 30.2 percent for this demographic group. In 2018 the total Offutt AFB population reached 3,478.

Out of 2,857 people who had a job, 1,204 were employed in the Armed Forces and 1,653 belonged to the civilian labor force.
